• Pick of the Week: Fendi Watch

Karlito, Fendi’s fluffy bag charm, debuted in 2014; and ever since, this adorable caricature has grown to become a teenager’s favourite. From clutches and bags to sweatshirts and more, its image has been used on several of Fendi’s lifestyle products; and it has now made its way to the fashion brand’s latest watches. Called Fendi My Way Karlito, it boasts of a combination of fur, precious stones and leather with an interesting and vibrant design.

The most relatable timepieces is the one that features Lagerfeld’s iconic sunglasses on its dial—set with diamonds—and a detachable pink, white and black fur on one side.The My Way Karlito timepieces flaunt design characteristics that resemble the image of the brand’s beloved fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.  While the dial of the watch pays homage to the designer, the fur on it pays homage to the original Karlito. On the side opposite to furry the watch features a white leather collar with a black tie that calls to mind Lagerfeld’s uniform.

Well, in case you are not in the mood to pull off this vibrant piece of art at a particular time of the day, you can change its appearance by taking away the fur. This in return unveils a chic case inspired by the shape of ancient Roman architectures.
