Louis Vuitton limited edition Escale World Time was debuted two year ago, its dial inspired by nautical flags now returns with the Escale Spin Time.

This stunning Louis Vuitton watch indicates the hours via rotating cubes and a minute hand. The current hour is indicated by the hour on a cube, while the other hours cubes display hand-painted nautical flags. Each cube has four faces, two for the hour numerals and another two with nautical flags. Minutes, on the other hand, are indicated by a white-tipped arrow.

Unlike other Spin Time watches, this only indicates a single time zone. But the mechanism is identical, relying on a Maltese cross gear attached to each cube to rotate the cube 90 degrees every 12 hours, similar to Urwerk’s signature rotating cube display in the UR-202 and UR-210.

Inspired by the riveted corners of Louis Vuitton steamer trunks, the Escale watch case has lugs attached to the case band. Its bezel, lugs and crown in either 18k white or pink gold, while the case band is in titanium.
