One of the maison’s preferred complications, the minute repeater feature for the new watch has been tweaked – new trebuchet hammers and an addition of regulators – to ensure melodic, distinct and precise chimes, all while essentially eliminating any secondary sounds. Other redesign works include the single push-button to allow for a thin aesthetic.
Elsewhere, Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous Ivy Minute Repeater holds a white gold dial carefully detailed by master enamellers and gemsetters, placing diamonds of various sizes to resemble the welcoming of winter snow. In total, the timepiece features 548 diamonds with 255 adorning the dial itself.
