The Good

This beautiful timepiece not only has a design to boast about, but comfort as well. This 43mm timepiece features a blue rubber strap that is extremely comfortable to wear all day as a dress watch, casual timepiece, and even when in water.

With a genuine scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal protecting the beautifully designed dial, the screw down crown seals for an outstanding water resistance of 200 meters (660 feet).

The blue dial is stunning and features luminous hands and white Roman numeral hour markers. The minute markers are displayed around the outer rim. The three silver tone dial hands are beautifully designed and are also luminous in dark environments. With two sub dials at the 12 and 6 o’clock position, one rimmed with gold and the other in silver tone (respectively), this timepiece looks outstanding. There is even a power reserve indicator that takes out the guesswork.

The round calendar date window is located at the 6 o’clock position and features a round magnifier within the genuine Sapphire crystal dial window. Bearing the name of Ulysse Nardin as well as the headquarters of 170 years in Le Locle, Suisse (Switzerland), this stunning dial is a fine example of tried and true luxury watchmaking.

The stationary bezel is quite attractive as well. Both the case and the bezel are made of stainless steel, which match the stainless steel screw down crown and titanium clasp on the rubberized strap. The bezel is notched around the outer rim and the 43mm case butts up against the complementary blue rubber strap, which gives this Marine Chronometer a seamless look.

The back of the case is transparent and skeletonized, which offers the wearer that extra bit of luxury as they look at the beautiful Automatic movement.

Ulysse Nardin has made an incredible Marine Chronometer and there are no negative reviews of this timepiece thus far. Some wearers may prefer a blue calfskin or leather band as opposed to the blue rubber band, however, as a Marine Chronograph, it is intended to be worn with water in mind. The look is also excellent and has received no complaints. In fact, the strap is said to be quite comfortable and is perfectly suited to the type of timepiece this is.

With COSC’s seal of approval of this Swiss Chronometer, this Ulysse Nardin is a true Marine Chronometer with water resistance up to 660 feet (200 meters). Complete with a blue rubber strap, you can go swimming, boating, or spend some time at the yacht club without worry.

The blue rubber band on this timepiece perfectly complements the incredible blue dial. This band contains a stainless steel push button deployment clasp as well as a stainless steel link that shows off the Ulysses Nardin name and makes the overall look of this timepiece really shine.

The Automatic movement of this timepiece is a must-have in a luxury watch of this caliber, but nonetheless, it is a star. You can rely on this precision movement to keep the time in the water or on land for many years to come.
