One of the most popular football clubs in the world, Manchester United, recently announced the prestigious watch brand Tag Heuer as its official timekeeper. Here is all you need to know about their association.
At the launch of the Premier League 2016-17, Manchester United’s digital campaigns will feature TAG Heuer.The England-based football club and avant-garde Swiss watchmaker have signed a three-year agreement; as part of which, Tag Heuer will extend its offerings to Man Utd’s 659 million followers worldwide. Besides, fans will get to witness specially-crafted timepieces around the club’s stadium, team’s dressing room, as well as the Aon Training Complex in Manchester, London and Hong Kong.
Elaborating on this association, Manchester United’s Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold, commented, “This key partnership has been struck at a very exciting moment in our history. In TAG Heuer, we have a partner that will naturally be well-equipped to support us, not least because we share so much. Our rich history can be traced back to the same era; we’ve both overcome challenges and come out stronger in our quest for the highest level of performance.
