Chopard Happy Diamonds watch was invented in the 1970s, it was inspired by the sight of droplets glinting in the sun at a waterfall. Now, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Happy Diamonds, Chopard has created a new timepiece inspired by the very first Happy Diamonds watch.
The women’s watch features a cushion shaped case whose dial is encircled by prong set diamonds. The famous “happy” diamonds freely move across the watch’s textured mother-of-pearl dial; these are larger rocks than we’ve seen before in a Happy Diamonds design and there are also more of them than usual. In the center of the dial, a mini-subdial –with its own halo of tiny diamonds- bears the watch hands. We don’t have any word on the price yet, but we’ll definitely keep you posted.
